The foundation to CAPS Post-Doctoral Fellowship is its extensive supervision practices. Each post-doctoral fellow will be assigned two individual supervisors and will have 2 hours of individual supervision each week. Post-Doctoral fellows will also participate in a weekly professional development seminar with a focus on the adjustment from student to early career professional. When post-doctoral fellows co-facilitate groups, additional supervision is provided with the specific focus of the effective provision of group therapy. Post-doctoral fellows that serve as clinical supervisors for practicum students will receive an additional 1.5 hours of supervision focused on their clinical supervision process.
